The timeless beauty of copper has always been associated with quality, strength and durability. Every hummingbird feeder is a unique work of art created for the customer's garden or patio. The hummingbird feeders are crafted as it was in "the olden days". Each tube holder is hand-shaped to the exacting fit of the glass nectar feeding tube and then individually assembled onto the hand-shaped copper stem. Because each piece is individually hand-crafted, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Each piece will continue to be "unique and one-of-a-kind". The subtle variations in shape and color only add to their value.
The solid copper hummingbird feeders will grow more beautiful each year... time and the elements will continue its aging. First, it will change from its natural bright copper color, then into a reddish-brown and eventually develop into a verdigris blue-green patina (just like the Statue of Liberty!).
Each of the glass feeding tubes comes complete with red rubber stoppers for ease of refilling. The clear glass nectar feeding tube makes it easy to clean, prevents discoloration and allows you to actually see the hummingbird's tongue lick (yes, I said lick) the nectar from the tube as they drink.
The idea behind his exclusive design is to provide the hummingbirds with an endless supply of fresh nectar. This is very important for attracting hummingbirds. You simply keep an extra supply of replenishment tubes, filled and ready to go in the refrigerator. That way when one tube is empty, you exchange it with a full tube of fresh nectar. No need to refill one tube at a time. When your back-up tubes are all empty, then clean, refill and start over again. You will have happy and healthy hummingbirds with this program. All of the feeders come complete with a recommended recipe for you to make your own safe pure nectar.
